WeCare Allied Health Center was founded in May 2017 by two experienced certified Clinical Psychologists, Farah Putrinegara Ahmad Bahrom and Shazeema Binti Mashood Shah, who wanted to provide the best care and services for children and adults with mental and developmental disorders in Malaysia.
With this objective in mind, WeCare Allied Health Center is set up of a multidisciplinary team that consists of Allied Health Professionals such as Clinical Psychologists, Speech-Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychiatrist, Special Needs Educators and Audiologists that works together to provide the most comprehensive and effective solution catered.
Farah and Shazeema is widely known for their expertise in the diagnosis for children development problems. With more awareness in diagnosis for children, they noted that there is an important need in continuous and holistic solution for children with developmental diagnosis. Just providing therapy alone or providing therapy and education separately is not sufficient in improving children with development disorders.
Therefore, Weshine program was Created under WeCare Allied Health Center in order to provide best education and care for children with developmental diagnosis. Both Farah and Shazeema understand that there is an urgent need for a program that combines both therapy and education for children with special needs.
WeShine Program is renowned for providing quality therapy and education for children with development diagnosis. The WeShine Program Team works closely with parents, teachers, and other Allied Health Professionals in order to improve a child’s developmental, behavioral, learning, emotional and social difficulties. We have had many graduates from WeShine program that were able to join mainstream education such as entering kindergarten or primary school after completing our program.
Our team has extensive experience and knowledge in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adults presenting with a range of difficulties including; developmental, behavioral, learning, emotional and social difficulties. Apart from that, our team members are renowned for providing quality and assessments and evidence-based interventions for children, adults and their families, whilst working closely with Paediatricians, GP’s, schools and other Allied Health professionals from different centers of difficulties including; developmental, behavioral, learning, emotional and social difficulties.
We also provide corporate training, stress management programs, mental health seminars, enrichment programs, career counseling and other workshops. Our professionals will cater to the needs of our clients to provide the best service for your benefit. Therefore, we aim to provide the best service to our clients by providing a comprehensive and complete experience by integrating different approaches under one roof.
