Qin Xuan holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Psychology from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). She is currently a Special Needs Educator here at WeShine, where she is dedicated to supporting children with diverse developmental and learning needs.

Her journey in the special needs field began during her internship experience at a private special needs centre, where she received exposure and training in Early Intervention Programmes (EIP) and various childhood developmental disorders. Although she previously gained experience working in a corporate HR setting, Qin Xuan discovered that her true passion remained in working with children with special needs, which motivated her to continue pursuing this meaningful field.

Qin Xuan is known for being patient yet firm, allowing her to provide consistency and structure when implementing programmes for children. She believes in supporting each child’s growth at their own pace while encouraging confidence, participation, and independence. She also has a special interest in helping children develop independence in activities of daily living (ADL).

Being multilingual in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin, Qin Xuan is able to connect comfortably with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
