Amirah graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and is a registered Occupational Therapist under the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC). With nearly four years of experience in paediatric settings, she is passionate about supporting children in reaching their fullest potential through evidence-based, child-centred, and family-centred intervention.

Throughout her clinical experience, Amirah has worked with children presenting with a wide range of developmental needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), global developmental delay, sensory processing differences, learning difficulties, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. She has experience conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized intervention plans, and implementing therapy that supports children’s participation in daily activities, play, learning, and social engagement.

Amirah believes in building trusting relationships with children and their families and working collaboratively with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes. Her intervention approach focuses on promoting independence, confidence, and participation while tailoring strategies to each child’s unique strengths and needs.

Committed to continuous learning and professional development, Amirah strives to ensure that her practice remains evidence-based and responsive to the evolving needs of the children and families she supports.
