WeShine Early Intervention Program

Enrollment in WeShine Early Intervention Program (WeShine EIP) starts with an assessment conducted by experienced clinical psychologists.

This assessment will identify your child’s precise developmental level as well as their strengths and weaknesses. This information in turn will be used for the development of your child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP), which is unique to your child and caters to his/her abilities, culture, background, and education system.

Each IEP plan will then be executed by the WeShine EIP team during EIP class under the monitoring of the Clinical Psychologist that was assigned to your child. Any concerns that arise during EIP class will be managed together by the team with the support of the child’s parents. Feedback sessions will also be conducted with parents to share the progress of the child’s learning following the child’s Individual Education Plan.

The individualized education plan, clear goals, and good working relationship between our WeShine team and you will ensure a successful and fun journey for your child.

A Factor That Makes WeShine EIP Successful

Some EIP programs have the same goal for all its students regardless of age, diagnosis and abilities. This is because they may not provide Individualized Education Programs for their students. Therefore the students may receive the same learning even though the students have different strengths and weaknesses. This may result in the student not learning the skills that they need to improve or may be learning skills that they have mastered which will lead to less improvement.

WeShine EIP is curated by Clinical Psychologists together with Special Needs Teachers and Occupational Therapists to be able to provide an Individualized Education Program for our students.

What Do Clinical Psychologists Do?
